Marcela Salinas has over 20 years of experience in the health field working in a Federally Qualified Health Center, Public Health Operations, Management and Leadership. Marcela has provided direct oversight managing multiple Public Health clinic sites, services and management and oversight of federal grant programs, primarily focusing on the underserved. Marcela is a passionate leader; remains patient centered, has a strong passion for helping others and strives to overcome barriers in achieving access to care to better improve individuals’ quality of life and improve patient health outcomes.

Marcela holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Troy University and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Marcela has successfully completed a Hispanic Leadership program through the Hispanic Leadership Institute (HLI).

Marcela has extensive knowledge and firsthand understanding of the challenges the communities face, specifically in the rural communities and strives to achieve quality services and positive patient outcomes.

On her spare time, she loves to eat, go for walks, socialize, and spend time with her family. She has one son and an adorable dog Coco.
