Ms. Copeland is originally a Florida native. She had the opportunity to live in several states across the country, most recently living in Montana for two years, but other states include Virginia and Hawaii. She pursued her Master of Science in Nursing while living in Honolulu, Hawaii, and has been a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care since 2013.

Caring for pediatric patients has always been her passion. Ms. Copeland began working as a registered nurse in a children’s hospital, then provided care for postpartum mothers and newborns, and spent five years caring for medically fragile children in a skilled nursing facility. While working as a Registered Nurse she chose to pursue her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree. Ms. Copeland’s Nurse Practitioner degree has allowed her to provide care to a wide variety of children and instruct nursing students in Tucson, AZ.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband exploring parks, museums, swimming, going to splash pads and zoos.
