Janna Stults is a Certified Nurse Midwife. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle University in 2017. She has been practicing as a full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife since 2017 and has had the privilege of providing comprehensive care in both hospital and community-based birth settings.
Ms. Stults began her journey toward becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife with a master’s degree in public health. During her studies, she learned how midwives improve community health outcomes through high-quality maternal and newborn care. Learning about the public health benefits of midwifery fueled her passion to pursue an advanced practice nursing degree in midwifery.
With a background in research, Ms. Stults considers herself a lifelong learner. She enjoys reading newly published research and clinical guidelines from various disciplines, integrating new insights into her practice. Her dedication to the midwifery community includes attending educational conferences and participating in advocacy efforts.
Ms. Stults grew up in the Pacific Northwest of Washington State. She is married and has two daughters, both delivered by midwives. In her leisure time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family, including exploring parks, hiking, and swimming.
