Dr. Ziad is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). He serves as the Associate Program Director for the NYU Langone Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry in Casa Grande, Arizona.

In 2001, Dr. Ziad earned his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery from Salahaddin University in Iraq. He moved to Arizona in 2004 and completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the Lutheran Medical Center. In 2012, he completed his residency training in pediatric dentistry from Lutheran Medical Center – Department of Dental Medicine in Tucson, Arizona.  Additionally, Dr. Ziad completed a one-year Fellowship in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Related Disabilities from the University of Washington in 2015.

After obtaining his pediatric dentistry certificate, Dr. Ziad worked at Children’s Village, a multidisciplinary clinic for children with special health care needs. He was also an attending in both UW and NYU Langone pediatric dental residency programs for six years. In 2018, he joined Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar and worked in a tertiary hospital for three and half years.

In Feb 2022, Dr. Ziad decided to return to his home state Arizona. He joined Sun Life Health not only to provide high-quality dental care for Casa Grande children, but also to mold the new generation pediatric dental residents.

Dr. Ziad enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, outdoor walking and hiking.
