Sun Life Health is soliciting statements of qualifications for the Sun Life Health Education and Medical Campus (Campus) on 10 acres in Casa Grande at SE corner of the intersection of Florence Blvd and N Via Del Cielo Rd which is owned by Sun Life Health.  Sun Life Health has procured capital for an approximate 100,000 to 130,000 SF medical office building.

Sun Life Health is a not for profit 501(c)3 federally qualified health center located in Casa Grande, Arizona. The Campus is a new construction Medical Office Building (MOB) that will include family practice, pediatric services, women’s health, a full-service pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and other ancillary services.

Your company is hereby invited to submit a Proposal response for Construction Manager/General Contractor services for the construction of an approximately 130,000 SF Medical Office Building (MOB) and associated site work for Sun Life Health. This Request for Proposal is the initial phase of a selection process to engage a firm to provide CM/GC services as outlined in documents below:

  1. Deadline: Sun Life will accept proposals no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023.

From your Exhibit A2, two (2) buildings are shown. Is that correct or is the only one (1) 130K SF building? Also is the warehouse building part of the project? I assume there is no complete set of plans with architectural and structural drawings available at this time. When will they be available?

We are still in the early planning stages with our architect and are still contemplating whether we want one 130K SF building on the site.  Our initial thoughts included having a separate building for warehouse and facilities maintenance functions. Our goal is to incorporate the selected GC as part of the process for development of the plans for this project as feasible.
